Location: Braine-l’Alleud, BE
Duties & Roles:
- Strategic & Operational Coordination: Coordinate strategic business management initiatives working across departmental or functional boundaries to improve the delivery of NIMSC projects and services.
- Executive Support: Manage and operate the Deputy NIMSC day-to-day routine. Ensure decisions and guidance are assigned, prioritized, and executed appropriately according to time and quality metrics. Update and deconflict calendars to match senior management timetables.
- Meeting & Event Management: Set agendas, formats, and desired outcomes for key senior meetings. Track and report progress updates from the senior management team. Organize major events, visits, executive off-site meetings, and managers’ conferences.
- Information Management: Handle highly sensitive and confidential issues. Draft accurate, concise, and clear documents, reports, letters, and artifacts as directed.
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience within a large international organization, governmental body, or the military. Demonstrated experience managing workflow and executive support staff.
- Teamwork & Leadership: Proven experience working with cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and virtual teams, preferably in an international environment. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and produce high-quality products under tight deadlines.
- Methodologies & Frameworks (Desirable): Experience or certification in PRINCE2 (Foundation and Practitioner) or comparable Project Management methodology; Intermediate ITIL Foundation certification; experience in continuous service delivery improvement.
- Sector Knowledge (Desirable): Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) experience in a large organization (defense, national public administration, or private defense sector). Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and structure, including Allied Command Operations (ACO) and Allied Command Transformation (ACT).
- Clearance: A valid NATO Secret security clearance is mandatory.
