Location: The Hague, NL

Duties & Roles:

• Software Development & Delivery: Support delivery of Integrated Command and Control (ICC) gap capability work packages.
• Backend Engineering: Design data schemas and develop, deploy, and maintain server-side logic. Modernize older codebases and debug complex legacy systems.
• Frontend Engineering: Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• DevOps & Verification: Build automated tests and manage code deployment pipelines, version control, and containerization engines.

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

• Backend & Systems: Proficiency in Java and Python. Solid SQL knowledge and data schema design. Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Frontend & Web: Experience with web frameworks like Angular or React.
• DevOps & Containers: Good understanding of Git, CI/CD using Jenkins/GitLab, container engines (Podman/Docker), and automated testing practices.
• Desirable Experience: Hibernate, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, Ansible, Kubernetes, event streaming, Spring framework, and prior familiarity with Command & Control applications (specifically ICC).
• Clearance: A valid NATO Secret security clearance is mandatory.
