Duties & Role:
Exercise Support: Lead or actively participate as a core operator within Red/Blue team constructs during complex NATO military exercises.
Technical Exploitation: Conduct high-end web application, internal IT infrastructure, and standalone system penetration testing deployments.
Security Architecture & Consulting: Deliver targeted security design reviews, compliance checks against NATO directives, and actionable engineering advice for multi-tiered projects.
Executive & Stakeholder Relations: Draft clear, prioritized technical risk reports and brief cross-functional stakeholders up to flag officer levels.
Accreditation Liaison: Coordinate technical dependencies directly with Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and international Security Accreditation Authorities.
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
Core Assessment Experience: 3+ years of proven depth in web application penetration testing, network architecture review, and assessing OS or communication protocol flaws.
Systems & Scripting Expertise: Functional experience in Windows/UNIX system administration combined with scripting agility in Python, Perl, Ruby, or Shell (Bash/Ksh).
Advanced Cryptography & Malware: Comprehensive technical knowledge of encryption schemes, authentication workflows, network protocols, and modern adversarial malware injection tactics.
Risk Formulation: Strong capability to contextualize complex cyber risks into structured remediation roadmaps for diverse audiences.
Security Clearance: Must have a fully verified and active NATO Secret clearance from the date of engagement.
